Integrative Psychological Therapy
Therapy in this practice focuses on developing a thoughtful understanding of emotional patterns, relationships, and life experiences that influence psychological wellbeing.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, therapy aims to understand the broader context in which difficulties arise. Emotional experiences, attachment history, bodily signals, cultural background, and life circumstances are considered together in order to develop a coherent understanding of a person’s experience.
Through this process, individuals often gain greater clarity about the factors influencing their wellbeing and are better able to identify meaningful ways forward.

Therapy Process
Therapy typically involves three stages.
Initial Understanding
Early sessions focus on understanding the concerns that have brought a person to therapy. This includes exploring emotional patterns, relationships, life context, and relevant experiences.
Psychological Formulation
As therapy progresses, a clearer psychological formulation is developed. This formulation helps explain how different aspects of experience may be interacting and contributing to current difficulties.
Clients often describe this stage as a moment when things begin to make sense more clearly.
Practical Change
Insight is translated into practical steps that support wellbeing and personal growth. This may involve strengthening emotional regulation, improving relationships, or making thoughtful life decisions.
